A delightful way to discover BC’s Sunshine Coast and explore the creative communities that are part of this scenic gem. Our professional guide will meet you at the ferry terminal for the start of this fun tour of a selection of the many artists’ studios sited along this beautiful coast.
You will stop at galleries, gardens and studios where you will be able to see the artists in action and ask questions as they demonstrate their creative skills. We will also visit a woodworking studio where you will witness the creation of exquisitely turned bowls and other pieces from local woods.
One of the highlights of your tour is a visit to the Shishalh (Sechelt) First Nations, where you will see the superb basketry skills which have been passed from generation to generation as part of their traditional culture.
During the course of your tour you will enjoy a light lunch or a picnic on the beach (weather permitting). After your tour take time to visit scenic Gibsons Landing with its numerous art galleries, craft shops and museum.
