Booking a date for your experience

Instructions for booking your experience are included on your Perfect Day Voucher - email or gift pack. Here is a summary of the steps:

  1. Click on the ‘Use Voucher’ link at the top of the page
  2. Enter your Voucher Number & Security Code. These are found on your email voucher or Gift Pack voucher. If you have more than one voucher please click the Add Vouchers link and enter your additional voucher numbers. Enter your name and details and click Submit.
  3. Follow the prompts to enter your preferred date and time for your experience booking.
  4. Once you submit your date request Perfect Day will process your booking and aims to confirm your date by email within three business days.
  5. At the time of booking confirmation you will receive full instructions for your day, including start time, directions and anything specific you need to know for your experience.

Using your Gift Certificate

Perfect Day Gift Certificates (used to be called Freedom Vouchers) are dollar value certificates that can be used to purchase any experience(s) on our website.

Instructions for using your Gift Certificate are included on your Perfect Day Voucher - email or gift pack. Here is a summary of the steps:

  1. Click on the ‘Use Voucher’ link at the top of the page
  2. Enter your Voucher Number & Security Code. These are found on your email voucher or Gift Pack voucher. If you have more than one voucher please click the Add Vouchers link and enter your additional voucher numbers. Enter your name and details and click Submit.
  3. Browse the website and choose your experience(s). Once selected proceed to the checkout where your Gift Certificate balance will be applied against the total price of the experience(s).
  4. If your chosen experience has a greater value than the balance on your Gift Certificate you will have the opportunity to pay the remaining balance using a credit card. Any unused balance on your Gift Certificate will remain on your Perfect Day account for future use.

Information about experiences

The most up to date information relating to experiences can be found on our website under the Experience Description tab for the particular experience.

The Weather - many of our experiences are weather dependent. If your experience is an outdoor experience we always recommend you contact the venue on the day of your experience, preferably before leaving home, to check the weather. Full contact details are provided at the time of booking confirmation.

Experience Restrictions - Certain experiences are subject to minimum or maximum requirements, e.g., age, health or weight. These are clearly detailed in the experience description on our website. Once booked, you may be liable for charges if you have to cancel because the minimum requirements have not been met.


Season Availability

Perfect Day offers a lot of experiences that are seasonal in nature. For example, Snowshoeing is only available during the winter and a Summer Getaway for Two is only available during the summer.

We try to ensure that the title of the experience guides the user as to whether or not the experience is seasonal, however to be sure we recommend you read the ‘When Can You Go?’ section on the experience description page under the ‘Need to Know’ tab.


Experience Providers

Perfect Day Experiences does not provide the actual experience, these services are provided by the venue which form part of Perfect Day’s network of Canadian partners.

Perfect Day does not provide our partners’ direct contact details until after the experience voucher has been purchased or redeemed on our website. If you need further information about an experience or have specific questions about a location then we are always happy to contact our partner on your behalf and get full answers to any questions you may have.


Changing the date once booking is confirmed

Once your booking has been made, if you cancel it, you may incur a cancellation fee from the supplier involved. You must contact the supplier directly with any cancellation requests as Perfect Day is not able to handle these on your behalf. You will also be required to deal directly with the supplier should any re-scheduling of your experience be necessary due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances – you will have full supplier contact details in your confirmation email that you received from Perfect Day at the time of your original booking.

Our suppliers operate under their own cancellation policies which you will need to adhere to. In the case of short notice cancellations you may lose your voucher completely if the supplier is unable to fill your space on the day. If a supplier needs to cancel a service for any reason, you will be notified as soon as possible in order to reschedule a convenient alternative date. Perfect Day Experiences will not reimburse any traveling, accommodation or other expenses incurred by you or any other person in the event of a cancellation.
